Texting while crossing the road shouldnt be illegal.  Because if you can listen to an ipod wile crossing the road then you should be able to text. I really think its a stupid idea cause we can put phones in are pockets.  Plus people look both ways before they cross the road.  If they ban texing while walking what are they gonna ban next? texting while sitting. What is a damn car gonna come and run us over if were sitting.  Plus we can hear more when were texing and walking then listening to your ipod and walking.  But we should have the freedom to do all of these things.  This is supposed to be a free state not one with hella unnesseccary laws and crap.  Soon were not gonna be able to do anything but just sit on are ass all day, maybe not even that.  I would not pass this law, they will be stupid to do that.
